We don't wear short shorts...

       I have heard one too many complaints these day about the length of shorts that are strutting around this campus. I am the first one to agree that the high waisted look is super chic, but there is a way to do it right. When you are wearing high waisted shorts that no longer cover any part of your legs the shorts are no longer serving their purpose. When choosing a pair of shorts please keep some length in mind, they will look just as cute, and if you buy them extra long you may perhaps even afford to cuff some of the extra length, and add some color contrast and texture!

    There are so many fashionable ways to wear shorts out there in these hot summer months while still keeping a modest style. Besides the basic jean short, there are many fierce tailored shorts out there right now, many come in pastel colors and if you're bold you can even try lace! During the fall one of my favorite things to do is choose a fun pair of tights to wear with my shorts. This can be paired with a chunky sweater and some boots to match. I know that fall seems so far away with the toasty days we have been having but it is never too early to start considering your options :) For now please think twice before you throw on a pair of cut offs and a crop top. And if you have a friend who experiencing this fashion emergency please kindly let them know and maybe even take them shopping! We could all use a true friend who tells you when your shorts look more like a diaper :/

Ok how precious are these!? They are tailored, Bermuda length shorts in a bold color. 

Even though these are a little shorter they are a boyfriend cut which allows them to be a little baggy and rolled at the cuff. The cuff is nice for taller girls so they are able to adjust the length.
