Fa la la la FALL!

Fall is finally here! With that exciting announcement comes a plethora of new style options. This time of year is all about layering, bundling, and of course boots. Some people have a separate wardrobe for this time of the year, but if you do not fall into that category I might be able to offer a few fashionable tips! Layering really is where its all at. If you have a favorite summer dress that you still want to wear all you have to do it add to it to create the perfect fall ensemble. Sometimes I like to throw a long sleeve on under the dress or a cardigan over top. Wearing a pull over sweater over a dress is becoming very trendy right now. Doing this will result in only skirt of your dress being visible which is great because you just found a new way to style that dress! Wearing tights or leggings and then a pair of boots is a classic fall option. I always like to throw on a scarf or a chunky necklace as well to add interest and texture.
Mixing prints is such a fun way to do fall fashion but you must proceed with caution. I am a fan of mixing florals with stripes but always get a friends second opinion before walking out the door like the world is your runway. Textured or patterned leggings are the best way to express yourself and they can only be work for a few months out of the year so take advantage of this amazing opportunity!
Scarves have been rising in popularity these past few winters and it looks like their hype isn't coming down anytime soon so feel free to jump on that bandwagon. Thick knitted scarves come in all colors and designs. You can buy the traditional tasseled scarves and find hundreds of ways to fashion them, you can also indulge in the slightly more recent infinity scarf! The is a scarf that is a continuous loop which makes scarf wearing much easier. Remember to embrace fall colors, they all go together so well that you can literally just pick a few fall colored pieces out of your closet and you will have a beautiful autumnal outfit ready to go. Now get out there and jump on some crunchy leaves!

Rings are the best especially in excess!
